"As a kid I was always a free spirit – My passion was to be active, physically and mentally strong, and dedicated to my practice, focused on what could be positive instead of the negative. So, yoga. It’s hard to pin a year or day or class when yoga officially came into my life. But somehow it did and it’s a safe bet that it’s here to stay. It started with a few years of sporadic practice and sharing this budding fascination with my family. I complete my first 200hr teacher training, in Ashtanga Anusara at Yoga Inbound (Cusco) with Chaitamya Nitai Das. Currently. The long of the short is, what attracted me to yoga was first the physical asanas. And through the years it became something so much deeper. Experimenting peace in meditation. Applying my practice off the mat and learning how to be a better person. Finding courage in myself to leave my country and live abroad. Digging up an unknown strength within me to establish a home for myself in a foreign city. Learning to trust, accept what is and let go, constantly, so I can evolve towards what's meant for me and likewise for others. Reminding myself every day with confidence and faith that what’s meant for me in life, will not pass me by. “When you make loving others the story of your life, there’s never a final chapter, because the legacy continues. You lend your light to one person, and he or she shines it on another and another and another.”
